Mike Kilburn, Host and Executive Producer, CEO

Mike is an accomplished media professional and the founder of RED SUN MEDIA production company. The company was established in 1994. With humble beginnings in producing TV commercials for Time Warner Cable, he has transformed his company into a full-service media powerhouse, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and quality throughout his career. A proud native of Columbus, Ohio, Mike graduated from West High School before moving to Dayton to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. His passion for storytelling and community engagement led him to the world of television, where he began his career at the Law Enforcement Television Network. Here, he covered a wide range of law enforcement-related stories, from advancements in technology to critical officer safety initiatives. Mike's extensive broadcasting experience spans over a decade at WBNS-TV (10TV), followed by a brief period at WCMH-TV (NBC-4), and he currently contributes his expertise to WSYX (ABC6) and WTTE (FOX28). Each weekday, you can find him on MobileTrak, reporting on breaking news and traffic conditions for Good Day Columbus, helping viewers navigate their mornings and avoid traffic issues. On Sunday mornings, Mike shifts gears to explore and highlight fun and interesting activities in the Columbus area, enriching the weekend experience for local viewers. In addition to his reporting duties, Mike has performed in over 500 commercials and infomercials, showcasing his versatility in front of the camera. He also serves as the Executive Producer for the "Out N About Columbus" TV Show, where he thrives on collaborating with clients to generate fresh and exciting content. Renee Joseph, CoHost and Vice President

Renee Joseph is a multifaceted professional who has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry and culinary world. Joining the production company when it was just four years old in 1998, Renee not only brought her expertise to the table but also made a strategic investment to own a percentage of the company. This decision marked the beginning of her impactful journey in a competitive field. With a natural flair for the spotlight, Renee served as the co-host of the popular television show Deal Detectives for four years, captivating audiences with her charm and wit. She has also become a familiar face on several segments of Good Day Columbus on FOX 28, where she delighted viewers by sharing inexpensive cooking recipes that are both accessible and delicious. Her extensive experience includes starring in over 100 commercials and infomercials, showcasing her versatility and talent in front of the camera. Renee’s journey began in the classroom as an English teacher, where she honed her communication skills and passion for storytelling. She later transitioned to become an Estee Lauder spokesmodel, further solidifying her presence in the public eye. Today, she is also recognized as an acclaimed voice-over talent, bringing scripts to life with her engaging voice. Outside of her professional endeavors, Renee has a deep love for cooking, fine dining, and great wines. Calli Clark Greer, Sales Manager / Senior Producer

With 14 years of experience in sales, I have built a career characterized by a commitment to embracing new challenges that foster both professional and personal growth. My tenure at Red Sun Media has been particularly rewarding; within just two years, I achieved a promotion to Senior Producer. In this role, I have successfully balanced team leadership with exceptional sales performance, leading by example and inspiring my colleagues to reach their full potential. As a Senior Producer and Sales Manager, I have orchestrated pivotal behind-the-scenes efforts that drive success for both our clients and the company. My dedication to helping clients meet their advertising goals is unwavering, and I continually seek innovative strategies to amplify their messages in a competitive marketplace. I approach my work with a high level of enthusiasm and passion, which I believe is essential for fostering strong client relationships and achieving outstanding results. I take great pride in being a key contributor to our team's success and truly love the work that I do. Lisa Hunt, Segment Producer

Laughter and Imaginative Inspiration are the driving forces behind Lisa's position as a tv producer. She thoroughly enjoys working with each guest and looks forward to meeting the next one. She spent much of her career connecting with clients from the hospitality industry and those relationship skills have transferred into her current position of wanting to help people look their best and feel confident on tv and beyond. Her infectious energy comes from seeing people smile, laugh and have some fun! When you meet Lisa, she will likely have a fun story to share.

Madeline Johnson, Segment Producer

Madeline Johnson is a dedicated television producer for Out ‘N About Columbus, with a diverse background in media, graphic design, and business management. She is passionate about connecting local business owners with opportunities to grow and thrive within their communities, leveraging her expertise to create impactful content and foster meaningful connections. Madeline’s multifaceted experience enables her to bring a unique perspective to her work, where she combines creative vision with strategic business insights to support and promote the success of Columbus-area enterprises! 


PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

Mitchell Dorsett, Senior Videographer/Editor

Mitchell Dorsett attended The Ohio State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2023.Having majored in Film Studies with a background in editing, Mitchell sought after both roles for freelance opportunities out of college and for many of his own creative projects. For their 2023.season, Mitchell was a Camera Operator for Scioto Downs, appearing on Fox Sports 2, and his short films have won awards for “Best Editing” on Ohio State’s campus in 2023. Since February of 2024, Mitchell has worked for Red Sun Media as both a Videographer and Editor of the show. Out N About Columbus, as well as editing local commercials produced by the company.

Joshua Martin, Chief Editor

Joshua Martin attended Full Sail University, where he studied to become a Digital Cinematographer. In 2021, he graduated with his bachelor's degree and started doing freelance work as an editor. Since November of 2023, Josh has worked as an editor at Red Sun Media; eventually becoming the Chief Editor and building the show Out N About Columbus.
